Number Story of 38
My name's Bri; I'm 22 years old and I've been seeing the number 38 everywhere, everyday since I was 16. So, it's been about 6 years
now.. wow, I forget how long it's been going on.
It's hard to say the first time it started happening; I don't think anyone knows the first time, because it takes so long to realize its showing up.
I was 16, I had 1 best friend who was my little partner in crime, my sister, my other half and every summer we used to go to and Island off the
coast of Southern California. We went so much it was our other home, and we grew up a little there, and we grew closer together. We even
used to finish each other's sentences and silly things like that. One time when we were 16 we'd just gotten to the island and we were getting
checked in and she mentioned she'd been seeing this number EVERYWHERE, and she thought it was some omen. [lol] Soon as she said
that I was at a loss for words.. I asked her which number, and she of course said 38, which was the number I had *just* recently been
realizing was 'following' me. It became a silly joke between us, but it also happened to be true. :)
She moved away, and It comes and goes every now and then, I think the longest it stayed away was a few months after she moved, and it
was gone for a year, but it's been happening more lately, and it always with something different. It's the exact amount of gas I need to fill
my tank $38.38, it's the phone number on my caller id 338-0338, it's the channel my TV's on when I turn it on (some Spanish channel
I never watch), it's my flight number, or the page of a book, it's the time when someone asks me..
Solely due to this number, I've studied numerology, and I know that 3+8=11 (actually I would hope we all know that lol), and 11 is a very
spiritual number, so I bought a numerology pendant I wear with 11 on it. I've tried thinking of times, or dates it could correspond too, or
maybe something deeper like a real omen but all I can think of is a fighter plane or a gun or something ominous but that's just silly..
The last fact that I recently found out was that I was premature.. I've always known I was premature and because of it I had a hole in
my heart, but my mom was on her 38th week...creepy right?!
Does anyone have any ideas?
